After much self-consultation, I have decided to amend DownToBuck's new highlight-making policy. Instead of doing highlights of Lithuanian players exclusively, I will showcase both Lithuanian AND Latvian players. Rejoice, fans of David Bertans/Kristaps Porzingis! I have heard your pleas, but more pertinently, I don't even really know if Lithuania and Latvia are different places or not. Whenever I try to think about that section of Europe my head gets all fuzzy.
As an added bonus, I also promise to do Lauri Markkanen highlights when that guy gets drafted.
In the spirit of my new policy, here are some primo Dāvis Bertāns highlights! He's hād ā few good gāmes prior to this one, but tonight he blew pāst āll expectātions ānd scored 21, mostly from beyond the ārc. His three-point stroke is pure, so pure that the Hornets couldn't help but foul him in ān āttempt to stop it. And if thāt wāsn't enough for you pervos, he stārted off his night with ā huge dunk where his heād wās, I SWEAR, ālmost āt rim level. Not quite there, but close.
Didn't this guy tear his ACL or something? First Jabari Parker, now Bertans, it seems like to unlock your full athletic potential you first need to destroy your knee.
