This is the sixth installment of my amateur reconstructions of the fatal crash of N72EX, the helicopter that had 9 passengers including Kobe Bryant. This installment focuses on Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications and includes new audio that I received from the FAA through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Analyzing this new data, I believe that spatial disorientation was a contributing factor to the crash. This simulation is a 3D animation created using X-Plane, Tacview, and ADS-B data from flightradar24, ADS-B Exchange, and Opensky Network to reconstruct the last minutes of flight.
