“We think that the deal is successful. Each sale is usually successful unless it is forced,” Antanas Anskaitis, the head of the Lithuanian unit of BPT Asset Management and a manager with BPT Optima, told BNS.

He would not disclose the value of the deal yet said that the sum of 5 million euros reported by media was inaccurate.

The Verslo Žinios business daily said that BPT Asset Management had sold the business center to a private investor from Russia. Anskaitis refused to make any comments.

He said, however, that the fund planned to sell two properties in Estonia in the near future.

The funds managed by BPT Asset Management control the Europa shopping center in Vilnius and two logistics centers in Vilnius and Kaunas.
