The authorized capital would be increased to 11.536 million litas, from 913,200 litas, through additional contributions, Chevron Exploration & Production Lietuva reported to the Center of Registers on Tuesday.

Dutch-registered Chevron Lithuania Holdings B.V. owns the Lithuanian company.

Lithuania’s government should decide soon whether to give the go-ahead for Chevron to explore for shale gas in the western part of the country.
