The head of the winning pharmacy Dainius Viederis says that together with his team, they were working toward this achievement and so it does not come as a complete surprise. The pharmacy’s heads Rasa Bagdonienė and D. Viederis revealed that at the start of this year, they agreed that their goal was to be the best.

“Every month, we worked step by step. It is a great honour to be part of this team and be recognised from among such a vast number of professionals,” pharmacist D. Viederis says, not hiding that there were also more difficult months to endure, but they were motivated to not give up thanks to the goal set together with their colleagues.

“The pharmacy in Klaipėda‘s Akropolis became the best of 670 pharmacies across Sweden, Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, which is an important achievement. The pharmacy and its team were elected as the best operating pharmacy offering the best customer service. It took first place in the pharmacy championship, and this is no coincidence because such an achievement demands teamwork, commitment, professional expertise, and love for your clients,” Laimonas Devyžis, the CEO of Euroapotheca, congratulated the team with their victory.

The board chairwoman of the pharmacy network in Lithuania Ingrida Damulienė points out this is not the team’s first victory. “We often display exemplary performance in the Lithuanian pharmacy market, and it is good to also share our experience with colleagues in other countries as well. We learn from one another, and this in turn yields results. We are glad that it was a pharmacy in Lithuania which was awarded this accolade. It is an evaluation which reflects professionalism and real teamwork, which we encourage,” the head of Eurovaistinė says.
