Google adds traffic information to its Vilnius maps

US Internet giant Google has updated its Vilnius maps to show real-time traffic conditions in the key streets of the Lithuanian capital, which would enable drivers to avoid jams.

The company also rolled out the same service in Riga and Tallinn on Thursday, it said in a press release.

Google’s Traffic service, which was launched in 2007, is available in many countries worldwide.

In January, Google rolled out its Street View services in Lithuania.
