The A+ class energy-efficient apartments will range from 1.5 to 3 rooms, and span 29-67 square metres. The new buildings are planned to feature 21 apartments with 1.5 rooms, 40 apartments with 2 rooms and 53 apartments with 3 rooms. A charging station for electric cars as well as 107 ground level parking spaces will be set up, and storage spaces will be built for those newly settling in, with 36 spaces in the 4th stage and 29 in the 5th. The construction works are due to be completed in autumn 2021.
Thirty per cent of the project’s territory will be dedicated to green spaces, which will hold rest and leisure zones for residents of all ages. Areas for active exercising, volleyball, yoga and children’s playgrounds are planned, as well as reading and rest spaces. Every apartment will contain individual underfloor gas heating and showcase windows, while the ground floor apartments will feature their own terraces, spanning up to 100 square metres, and other apartments will have 14 square metre balconies. It will be possible to access the territory through two driveways, and the city’s Western Bypass will be reachable by car within four minutes.
According to the company’s executive director Jurgita Kveselaitė, sales in the Gilužio Rivjera project already comprised a third of the company’s total sales even before the pandemic. The previous three stages of the project were successfully sold out over less than a year and a half, meanwhile, only two apartments remain unsold in the third stage.
“The pandemic and changing customer habits dictate new trends in the housing segment, and the newest stages will be dominated by three-room apartments. We feel our clients’ interest in investing in real estate located near to nature, while also not being removed from the rhythm of the city. We dedicated much attention to the neighbourhood’s concept where residents have access to all the necessary resting and active sports infrastructure near their home,” J. Kveselaitė says.
Reservations for apartments in the new stages were launched in November, and according to the director, after introducing the project’s development to clients, 30 per cent of the newly planned stages quickly sold out.
“Over November, our sales team had third more meetings with clients than the same period in October. We see that people were waiting for this project’s development, and as soon as new proposals emerged, they were quick to make their decisions. Today, Pilaitė is an independent city within a city, which is valued and chosen by ever more residents as their home. Both young families for whom this is their first home, and older individuals who want to return closer to the comforts of the city after living in the suburbs, are actively seeking a home here,” J. Kveselaitė observes.
In total, the company has plans for five three-story apartment buildings holding 108 apartments near lake Gilužis. The total investment in the settlement reaches 15.5 million euros. This is the only settlement in Vilnius city to be built on the lakeside.
