According to the Japanese embassy, an exact date for the mission is yet to be fixed, but the plan is for Japanese business people to visit Lithuania in early autumn.

Jun Arima, the head of JETRO's London unit, says that the mission is being planned following a recent seminar on potential investments in Lithuania, organized by Invest Lithuania, the government's foreign investment promotion agency, in the British capital.

The EU and Japan are currently discussing a free trade agreement.
