Juozas Bartlingas appointed CEO of Lithuanian Energy Production

Juozas Bartlingas, acting CEO of Lietuvos Energijos Gamyba (Lithuanian Energy Production), has been appointed as CEO of the Lithuanian electricity production group.

He was also elected the chairman of the company’s management board.

“The operations of Lietuvos Energijos Gamyba are profitable and reliable. Therefore my main goal is to guarantee continuous and effective work of the entire team in ensuring the country’s energy security and smooth implementation of ongoing projects,” Bartlingas said in a press release.

The company’s supervisory council on Tuesday elected a five-strong board, which also includes Eglė Čiužaitė, Darius Kucinas,  Adomas Birulis and Vidmantas Salietis, for a four-year term.

Lietuvos Energija (Lithuanian Energy) owns 96.13 percent of shares in Lietuvos Energijos Gamyba, which is quoted on the blue-chip Main List of the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Stock Exchange.
