Following a failed attempt to sell Finasta and Snoro Lizingas as a block, the committee of Snoras' creditors in early April is likely to consider selling the two companies separately, Danas Arlauskas, the head of the Lithuanian Business Employers' Confederation and a member of the committee, confirmed to BNS.
„The chairwoman of the creditors' committee, Aurelija Mazintiene, has asked us what we would think of the possibility of putting Finasta and Snoro Lizingas up for sale separately. It is difficult to find arguments why this should not be done,“ he told BNS.
Valdone Ugianskiene, a spokeswoman for the state-owned Deposit Insurance Fund, Snoras' biggest creditor, told BNS that the creditors' committee was scheduled to hold a meeting on Apr. 4.
