Lithuania's national radio and TV picks new chairman

Lithuania's National Radio and Television council on Tuesday elected Žygintas Pečiulis, professor at Vilnius University, as its new chairman.

Pečiulis was delegated to the council by President Dalia Grybauskaitė. His term will expire in May 2018.

Pečiulis, 57, is the head of the Vilnius University's Institute of Journalism.
