According to the draft, the fund’s revenues will increase by 0.4 percent, or 42 million litas, compared to 2013, to 9.79 billion litas and its expenditures will decrease by 0.2 percent, or 26 million litas, to 11.18 billion litas.
Sodra’s projections show that the fund will not be able to balance its budget until 2017, the daily says adding that the deficit may reach 923 million litas in 2015 and another 339 million litas in 2016.
The fund’s debt will reach 10.7 billion litas at the end of 2013 and will grow to 12.2 billion litas by the end of 2014. Next year, Sodra will have to borrow approximately 3.2 billion litas.
