“According to our data, around 80 million litas in money of budgetary institutions, state-owned and municipal enterprises were held at Ūkio Bankas,” he told the reporters after the government’s meeting on Monday.
Social Democratic MP Bronius Bradauskas, chairman of the parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee, said in mid-February that state-owned companies held 150 million litas in deposits at the collapsed commercial bank.
Ūkio Bankas’ operations were suspended on February 12.
