"From now on, we have not only serious trade partners, but also contract partners abroad. In early April, we signed a cooperation agreement with the Norwegian electrical power construction company Nettpartner. We will start to export our services," it quoted Aurelijus Daškevičius, the marketing director at A. Žilinskio ir Ko, as saying.

The Lithuanian company is planning to bid for contracts from Norway's distribution and transmission grid operators jointly with Nettpartner.

According to Verslo Žinios, the Norwegians need such partners as the country is planning to implement a number of strategic electricity projects, including Statnett's plans to reinforce the national transmission grid and build new connections between Norway and continental Europe and Britain.
