Astrom has taken over as chairman from Jonas Garbaravičius, who will now become a partner at CEE Resources & Investments, an investment firm operating in the City of London, Scaent Baltic said in a press release on Friday.

"I believe that my experience in the Scandinavian electricity sector will be very useful when drawing up guidelines for Scaent Baltic's further operations and responding to the changing situation. However, Scaent Baltic is not planning a further expansion in the Lithuanian market," Astrom said in the press release.

The company holds a 29-percent stake in the electricity trade company Inter RAO Lietuva.
