On January 7, the company received the tax authority’s decision that the mobile operator had to pay 1.215 million euros in extra taxes, Bite Finance International, the owner of the mobile company, said in its 2012 report that was released on Monday.

Bite lodged a complaint with the Commission on Tax Disputes. However, it has already set aside a respective amount pending the panel’s decision.

According to the report, the group’s reports of 2010-2012 had to be reviewed due to this decision of the tax authority.

Bite Finance International group, the operator of mobile telecommunications companies in Lithuania and Latvia, posted 1.029 million euros in audited consolidated net profit for 2012, reversing the year-earlier net losses of 87,000 euros.

Consolidated revenues rose by 5.1 percent, year-on-year, to 180.64 million euros, Bite Finance International said in its 2012 report.
