Positive news in the Lithuanian economic recovery scenario

The 9.5% unemployment level of this year will fall to 8.1% next year and the economy will jump in 2021 almost the same amount it contracted this year. Wages will mostly rise only in the public sector because businesses will still be feeling the consequences of the crisis. That said, a hard Brexit could push the economy down further. This is explained in the Ministry of Finance’s economic development scenario, which predicts a gradual recovery of the Lithuanian economy.
