Some 60 workers have already been hired and the number of employees is expected to grow to between 150 and 200 by the end of summer.

According to Marius Martinaitis, Ikea Vilnius store manager, there is no lack of people willing to work at Ikea’s first store in the Baltic countries. Felit, the operator of the shopping center, is happy that it has a chance to create a professional team.

“We have got a great response from those willing to work at Ikea Vilnius store… In total, we have received several thousands CVs from applicants,” Martinaitis said.
