“We started our journey to Lithuania back in 1997. Therefore we are very well aware of what kind of tramway Vilnius needs since we have prepared all projects,” Jean Francois Argence, director of commerce at LOHR, told the daily.

Alstom, another French company, also plans to take part in an international tramway tender, which Vilnius plans to issue this year. Several months ago, Alstom, France’s biggest tramway manufacturer, acquired 51 percent of LOHR shares.
