Vilnius University tops Lithuanian university rankings

Vilnius University continues topping the list of Lithuanian universities published by weekly magazine Veidas. It was placed number one for the 16th time.

Kaunas University of Technology came in second this year, rising from the fourth place last year, and Vytautas Magnus University dropped one notch to the third place.

The trio are followed by Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, Klaipėda University, the Lithuanian Educological University, Vilnius Academy of Arts, Aleksandras Stulginskis University, and the Lithuanian Sports University.

Among private higher schools, the best is the ISM University of Management and Economics, followed by the LCC International University, the International Business School at Vilnius University, Kazimieras Simonavičius University, the European Humanities University and the Faculty of Economics-Informatics of the branch of the University of Bialystok.

The universities were rated based on different criteria, including the variety of programs, internationality, demand for graduates on the labor market, the evaluation of scientific activities, and student satisfaction.
