Airinė Šerelytė, spokeswoman for the court, told BNS the request was satisfied on Friday.
Prosecutors turned to the court on May 7 and were asked to provided additional evidence.
The Prosecutor General's Office says the investigation is based on charges for crimes against humanity and war crimes.
The suspects include individuals who held high-ranking positions in the Soviet Ministries of Defense and the Interior as well as the State Security Committee in Lithuania and also those who took part in the January 1991 events.
The suspects face from 4 years to life imprisonment.
