The court said on Monday it had not received any data about threats to public security or public peace constituted by the Belarusian, Mikalai Ulasevich, who was en route to Vilnius for the September 26 discussion on nuclear energy but was stopped at the border.

Lithuanian officials have refrained from official comments on the reasons for barring Ulasevich and another Belarusian citizen from entering the country.

Ulasevich was not present at the court hearing on Monday, his lawyer said he was happy with the court ruling.
