In a recent incident, an angler was pulled out of a lake in Vilnius after falling through thin ice. Two joggers were the first to respond to his cries for help. They fell through ice as well. Upon arrival, firefighters pulled the angler and one of the joggers while the second one managed to reach the shore by himself. The angler, 64, was unconscious and later died in hospital.
