Gold medalist pentathlon athlete Laura Asadauskaitė, silver medalist canoeist Jevhenij Suklin, and two bronze medalists, wrestler Aleksandr Kazakevich and boxer Evaldas Petrauskas, will be honored at the ceremony aired live by the Lithuanian Television.

Swimmer Rūta Meilutytė brought the first gold medal to Lithuania last week.

Lithuania ranks 34th in terms of medals won among 205 countries at the London Olympics. This is said to be the country's most successful Games. Previous high point, Syndey Olympics of 2000, brought Lithuania two gold and three bronze medals.
