Freight traffic restrictions introduced at Lithuania's Medininkai border checkpoint

Lithuania introduces freight traffic restrictions at Medininkai checkpoint due to maintenance work.

On Wednesday, the company carrying out the work started road surface maintenance work at the freight traffic checkpoint, and plans to finish the work in seven days, the State Border Guard Service said.

During the infrastructure improvement work, freight traffic restrictions are introduced in one of the two freight traffic lanes. No additional restrictions are introduced for the second lane.

Drivers should expect temporary inconveniences until 14 June.

Medininkai checkpoint is located at the Lithuanian-Belorussian border.
