The report about a disturbed passenger aboard an airplane en route to Leeds was received by officers of the State Border Guard Service at Kaunas airport on Saturday evening.

The border guards identified him as a 31-year-old Latvian citizen with his documents intact who refused to obey instructions of the airplane crew to stop disturbing peace and buckle his seatbelt. Pilots refused to have the man aboard their aircraft.

According to the press release, the man was ordered off the airplane and was later found to have had too much to drink.

The Latvian man was handed over to the police. The incident did not interrupt the flight schedule and the airplane took off as planned.
