The case will be heard without holding a public hearing and without the attendance of the parties involved.

The municipality had appealed against Vilnius Regional Administrative Court's ruling ordering the municipality to review its decision on the location of the LGBT pride march. The court ordered Vilnius City Municipality to review a request by the Lithuanian Gay League to hold the event on the Vilnius central Gedimino Avenue. The municipality had issued permission to hold the march on Upės Street a little further from the central part of the Lithuanian capital.

Baltic Pride march is scheduled for July 27.
