Vilnius is expected to get the lion's share of LTL 3,022 million, followed by Kaunas (LTL 1,819 million), and Klaipėda (LTL 1,181 million).

Other municipalities will receive smaller sums or no money at all for the purpose.

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor says the money will be distributed according to the number of families and single people on social housing lists.

No funds will be given to municipalities where the money they would be entitled to based on the existing criteria would not be enough for them to rationally use it for social housing or municipalities receiving EU aid for the development of social housing.
