Voinicki was found brutally murdered in the basement of his block of flats on Kapsų Street, Vilnius, on Wednesday morning.
He also said "there are no very obvious signs of violence" on his body.
"There's a lot of information, it is being analyzed. There's a lot of interesting information but it's too early to talk. It is very controversial. None of the lines of enquiry have been dropped and we cannot find the motive," he said.
According to Lančinskas, officers also have a lot of forensic evidence, including prints, etc., they need to analyze.
Paulius Radvilavičius, a spokesman of Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat, told BNS earlier this week that a woman's call was received at 9:29 AM on Wednesday and she said she had found her dead husband.
A pre-trial murder investigation was launched, with no arrests so far.
Voinicki, 53, worked at Vilnius Pranciškus Skorina Secondary School and was a member of the Council of National Communities.
Alvyda Gedaminskienė, director of the House of National Communities, told BNS she last talked to Voinicki on Tuesday.
"It's a great loss to national communities. He was an exceptional figure among leaders of national communities. Loving and respecting Lithuania, he did a lot for his nation and his culture. He was a very warm person who took care of Belarusian issues and did a lot for all national communities," she said.
