"It was a working meeting of the president and chief of defense on airspace control and protection," Daiva Ulbinaitė, spokeswoman for the president, told BNS, refusing to disclose the contents of the meeting.

The unscheduled meeting comes amid discussions about the Swedish activists' stunt last month when they flew to Belarus from Lithuania and airdropped a thousand teddy-bears with pro-democratic messages.

Captain Skomantas Povilionis, spokesman of the chief of defense, told BNS on Monday the incident was discussed among other issues during the meeting. "The meeting was meant to discuss events of the last month when the chief of defense was on vacation. The incident was one of the issues," he said.
