The Press Service of the President has confirmed to BNS that it also received emails of an insulting and threatening nature from ukrainee@mail.ua this and last week.
The Seimas Chancellery said on Wednesday it had received such emails. The Prime Minister's Office has not received any threatening emails.
"Time will come and we'll turn on you for insulting the Slavic nations – Russian, Ukrainian, and Belorussian," one email read with attached photos of executions.
Acting Seimas Chancellor Andrius Kabišaitis, who heads the Seimas Legal Department, told BNS the email was written in Russian and also included a version in substandard Lithuanian, most probably translated via online translator.
The email also included supposedly WWII photos of military executions with the caption "pribalty" (Balts).
According to Kabišaitis, the email was signed by Ukrainian representatives of nationalist organization Slavianskiy Soyuz (Slavic Union).
