Other politicians in the top-five include former president Valdas Adamkus and conservative MEP Vytautas Landsbergis.

According to Veidas, the list was made based on a survey of parliamentarians, vice-ministers, mayors, top-ranking public servants, and heads of major business organizations.

Grybauskaitė is elected the most influential person in Lithuania for the fourth year in a row.

In separate categories, Robertas Dargis, the head of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, was picked the most influential businessman, Roman Catholic Cardinal Audrys Juozas Bačkis as the most influential Church official, and central Bank of Lithuania's board chairman Vitas Vasiliauskas as the most influential public servant.
