A delegation of Russian military experts, led by Colonel Aleksey Slepykh, will be visiting Rukla, central Lithuania, where the Iron Wolf is based, from Tuesday until Thursday, Lithuania's Ministry of National Defense informs.

The visit is organized on the basis of the 2011 Vienna Document.

The Vienna Document 1999 binds OSCE states to annually provide information about their armed forces, plans of developing defense capabilities and defense budget, and notify in advance about planned military activities. Parties to the agreement also commit to accept a set number of inspections from other countries in their territory per year.

It will be the third foreign inspection this year based on the Vienna Document. Earlier this year, Belarusian arms inspectors visited Lithuania twice.
