Six people killed in car accidents in Lithuania over the week

There were 79 car accidents recorded in Lithuania over a week, and six people were killed in them.

According to the Lithuanian Traffic Police, casualties include one carriage driver, one vehicle driver, one cyclist, one passenger, and two pedestrians. Four men and two women were killed in traffic accidents over a week.

92 people, including 24 minors, were injured in car accidents. Based on preliminary data, three accidents involved DUI drivers.

All in all, 213 people, including 11 minors, have been killed in car accidents in Lithuania this year, up by 6 people as compared to the same period last year.
