Wintry weather will continue in Lithuania this week, with blizzards expected in some districts on Tuesday, weather services said.

Tuesday will bring snowfall and blizzards to a large part of Lithuania. Eastern and southeastern winds will blow at 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 15-18 m/s expected in daytime.

The lowest nighttime temperature could drop to -17 degrees Celsius, while the highest daytime temperature could be around -1--6 degrees.

Similar temperature are expected to continue for the rest of the week, with weekend temperatures dropping to -20 degrees.
