Breaking spears over Belarus policy seems to be becoming a hallmark of Lithuanian foreign policy. Ever since the main opposition Conservatives party declared publicly at the end of last year’s September that the new Belarus policy is a threat to national security, more than four months have passed. However, nothing has fundamentally changed – not only has the confrontation simmer down, but neither has the policy itself obtained more clarity.
