G. Nausėda’s criticism over slow vaccination rates: is it time to demand A. Dulkys’ head?

In a retrospective of the past year of his term, President Gitanas Nausėda highlighted the pandemic and pointed to the Ministry of Healthcare (SAM) as being to blame for the slowed pace of vaccination. Of course, between the lines, the criticism was aimed at the ministry’s leader Arūnas Dulkys, who was delegated by the Conservatives. How justified is it and what awaits this political newcomer appointed to the post of minister who entered his post with a credit of political trust and Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė personally taking responsibility?
