Gitanas Nausėda and Diana Nausėdienė become the owners of the Presidential Palace: Dalia Grybauskaitė wishes luck and departs

After mass at the Cathedral, President Gitanas Nausėda was met with fluttering flags in Cathedral Square. The Lithuanian city, town and Lithuanians abroad flag honouring ceremony was held there. After this event, the president and the first lady, greeting the gathered people, walked off to S. Daukantas Square, where they received the symbols of head of state and addressed the “precious people of Lithuania and precious Lithuania.”
