He said that his seat in the Seimas would go to Irina Rozova of the Russian Alliance that ran for parliament together with the Polish party.

"We made a decision today – I will stay in the European Parliament, and my Seimas mandate will go to Irina Rozova, a candidate of our election partners," Tomaševski said.

On the list of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania, Tomaševski was followed by Švenčionys district council member Zbignevas Jedinskis who refused to swap his municipal post for an MP mandate. Rozova is next in line.
