"All three parties now work together in the opposition, so we really do not rule out future work together, coordinating positions and decisions that will have effects after the elections and now. I think the coalition is quite realistic," she said in an interview to Žiniu Radijas news radio on Wednesday.
Asked whether the party would propose its leader Viktor Uspaskich, who is currently on trial for financial fraud, for prime minister, she replied: "We will propose Uspaskich, if we have enough votes."
"Nevertheless, we understand that everything will depend on the president," Baltraitienė added.
Algirdas Butkevičius, leader of the Social Democrats, told journalists on Tuesday that the parties currently in opposition – the Social Democrats, the Labor Party, and the Order and Justice party – would be the ruling majority after the elections.
According to a Vilmorus public opinion poll published on Sunday, the Labor Party is the most popular political organization in Lithuania with support of 17.8 percent of those polled, while 15.7 percent and 11 percent of respondents stated support to Social Democrats and Order and Justice, respectively.
