Meager 5.6 percent of city dwellers are positive about the activities of the incumbent government, according to the poll data.
Kubilius himself believes that non-confidence in politicians results both from their mistakes and from certain thinking prevailing in the public.
“Greater confidence in oneself and in others, as well as belief in Lithuania’s future should be encouraged. Education system is very important for that. One should try to see him or herself in a wider perspectives,” he said.
The incumbent Seimas (parliament) has achieved a historic anti-record as its work is viewed positively by meager 0.2 percent and negatively – by as much as 80.2 percent of the respondents.
Consulting company Prime Consulting polled 500 respondents in Lithuania’s largest cities on 23-25 April.

Almost half of Lithuania’s city dwellers give average marks to the work of Andrius Kubilius-led government, which won positive marks only from 5.6 percent of the respondents, the latest poll commissioned by the Veidas weekly has shown.
