Military reacts to G. Nausėda’s call to aid the NVSC: healthcare system had time to prepare for a second wave of the virus

While visiting the National Public Health Centre (NVSC) on Tuesday, President Gitanas Nausėda admitted that the situation in the institution is very poor and mentioned that not only volunteers could assist NVSC epidemiologists at call centres, but also the military could assist. However, the military responds that no one has requested such aid so far. Furthermore, according to it, the healthcare system had sufficient time to brace for a second wave of the coronavirus.
