Returning the migrants might clash with international law, but there are no alternatives to be seen

On Tuesday night, Lithuanian border guards began turning back migrants crossing the border illegally from Belarus. The officers were permitted to employ force to prevent entry into the country. Some experts say that this decision is inevitable and even belated even though it might formally clash with legislation pertaining to asylum requests. Nevertheless, human rights activists have remarks to make and urge to not make use of excessive force.
