Some 47.6 percent of respondents named Valinskas as the worst speaker ever and 23 percent thought that it was Viktoras Muntianas. Some 13.4 percent said that all speakers of the Seimas had performed poorly.
Česlovas Juršėnas was named the worst speaker ever by 6.6 percent of those polled, and Vytautas Landsbergis, by 5.2 percent. Some 0.2 percent disapprove of the job that Irena Degutienė, the current speaker, is doing.
Paksas was ranked as the worst prime minister ever by 39 percent of respondents and Andrius Kubilius, the current head of the government, was picked by 27.2 percent. Further down the list are Gediminas Kirkilas with 15.2 percent, Laurynas Mindaugas Stankevičius with 7.6 percent, Gediminas Vagnorius with 6 percent and Adolfas Šleževičius with 2.8 percent.
Prime Consulting polled 500 residents of the country's five major cities for the Veidas magazine on 23 to 25 April.
