The survey reveals that Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, who was appointed head of the government in the end of 2008, and Energy Minister Arvydas Sekmokas are seen as the worst Cabinet members.

In the poll performed by public opinion and market research company RAIT, respondents were asked to rate the performance of members of the outgoing Cabinet. As to Masiulis, the leader of the Liberal Movement, 40 percent of respondents thought he did well at the helm of the ministry, 29 percent said his performance was poor, and 31 percent did not give an opinion.

Juknevičienė of the Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats received positive ratings from 31 percent of those polled, while 36 percent gave a negative rating. Non-affiliated finance minister Šimonytė was praised by 29 percent of respondents and criticized by 44 percent.
The bottom of the list of ministers includes Sekmokas, the minister of energy, whose performance was applauded by 13 percent of those polled and slammed by 57 percent. The prime minister, Kubilius, received even worse ratings – he was praised by 12 percent of those polled and criticized by 70 percent. Another 18 percent did not have an opinion on his performance.
The polling company interviewed 1,003 Lithuanian residents between 15 and 74. The poll took place between 31 August and 17 September.
