U.S. Embassy congrats Lithuania on procurement of Blackhawk helicopters!

Today, Minister of National Defense Raimundas Karoblis and Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher C. Miller are signing a Letter of Offer and Acceptance for Lithuania to procure four UH-60 “Mike” Blackhawk from the U.S. government.

Once implemented, it will become the largest-ever bilateral U.S.-Lithuanian Foreign Military Sales arms transfer.

Ambassador Gilchrist, together with senior military officials from the Embassy as well as U.S. European Command (EUCOM) U.S. Army Europe, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, congratulate Lithuania on this important step towards increasing national and regional security.
