British Foreign Secretary William Hague to come to Lithuania

Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, William Hague, will come to Lithuania next week, Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed on Friday.

Hague's visit to Lithuania is planned for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The British foreign secretary is scheduled to meet with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius and Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis. A joint press conference of the Lithuanian and British ministers is scheduled for Wednesday.

Meetings will focus on bilateral and regional cooperation, EU current affairs, international security, energy policy, relations of EU member states with Eastern and Southern neighbors.

The British foreign secretary will be also introduced to priorities of the Lithuanian EU Presidency.
