Eurovaistinė is the first in Lithuania in seeking to contribute to popularising vaccinations, with the company has invested over 300 thousand euros in this scheme. There is also an expectation that soon, COVID-19 vaccinations will also be made available. Laimonas Devyžis, board chairman for Eurovaistinė, says that it has been a goal for a long time now to offer vaccinations in pharmacies.

“This service helps save time and not miss the necessary vaccinations. For a time now, we have been looking to ensure that our pharmacies would comply with prerequisite conditions for vaccination, and clients will be offered this service in the established ‘Wellbeing Clinics’,” L. Devyžis says.

Pharmacist Jovita Juodsnukytė explains that now is the right time to get vaccinated for tick-borne encephalitis because as warmer weather approaches ticks to become active, but there is still time to form an immunity.

Those looking to be vaccinated can register on the free of the charge phone line at 8 800 50005. All information about vaccinations is regularly renewed on the company website at apie-eurovaistine.lt and on social media. Pharmacies will offer adults vaccinations for tick-borne encephalitis and flu.
