Interview with the new US ambassador to Lithuania – security, Astravyets NPP and 5G

The new US Ambassador to Lithuania Robert S. Gilchrist said in his first interview with Lithuanian news media that security remains at the core of bilateral relations and overall, relations are stronger than ever before. According to R. S. Gilchrist, when decided if Chinese companies can contribute to the development of 5G technologies, Lithuania should keep in mind not the consequences to relations with the US, but whether it wants to grant access to information for the Communist Party of China.
