Lina Antanaviciene proposed as Lithuania's ambassador to Korea

Lithuania's Ambassador to China Lina Antanavičienė is set to be proposed for the position of ambassador to Korea.

The Lithuanian government decided on Wednesday to make such a proposal to President Dalia Grybauskaitė.

Antanavičienė should assume the position as of 14 May, the Prime Minister's Press Service said. The diplomat would become Lithuania's fourth ambassador to Korea.

Antanavičienė was appointed Lithuania's Ambassador to China in 2010.

Lithuania and Korea established diplomatic relations in 1991.
